Punk This Studios is an independent entertainment development and production company that is dedicated to infecting various forms of media with punk ideologies. Contract Marketing & Social Media Manager

Punk This Studios is looking for an experienced detail oriented Marketing & Social Media Manager to join our team. This is a long-term contract position that'll span across multiple internal projects. The initial work will relate to Battle For Vitoria, our alpha-development strategy tabletop game. As the marketing and social media manager you will work with the project's producer, designer, and art director in order to best realize how the world and its characters are to be presented to potential players. You must devise an optimal strategy for communicating the excitement, quality, and value that our products have to offer. The goal is to ensure that product awareness and brand recognition is maximized, given our limited marketing budget. We want someone who is creative, productive, and has their finger on the pulse of society's physical and virtual hang-outs and hot-topics. You should know how to locate and communicate with our target core-player audience. At Punk This Studios we aim to earn the long-term respect of our fans; to build a solid brick wall which we can spray-paint a larger audience-reaching message upon. Ideal candidates are passionate for independent tabletop and video game development, comics, manga, anime, or animated series.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Skype meetings to discuss project design and development work.

We want someone who is creative, productive, and naturally thinks outside of societal norms. At Punk This Studios we are aiming to avoid story tropes in order to produce engaging world's that fascinate and inspire awe. Ideal candidates are passionate for independent game development, comics, manga, or graphic novels.

This is a long-term contract position that'll likely span across multiple internal projects; at times, work efforts will be divided across multiple projects simultaneously. Contract artists and animators will work with a project's lead producer, designer, and other artists in order to realize the project's creative vision. We want someone who is creative, productive, and naturally thinks outside of societal norms. At Punk This Studios we want an artist that produces works which are stylized to be bold and provocative, instead of appeasing the masses. Involved work includes technical sketching, creating concept art, story-boarding, importing assets into the game engine, prototyping of in-game art assets and animations, and presenting their own ideas for game engine and design improvements. Ideal candidates are especially passionate for independent game development, comics, manga, or graphic novels.

Punk Rock Musicians

Punk This Studios is looking for awesome Punk Rock Musicians to collaborate, and produce music for a TBA project. This is a short-term paid contract opportunity that applies to both individual musicians, and bands. Musicians will work either remotely, or directly, with our Producer; if based in the Boston MA / Providence RI region. We want professional bands or musicians that can produce LOUD, FAST punk rock music. Musicians should especially be passionate about pushing the boundaries of what qualifies as punk rock.

Responsibilities

• Work with producer to create new "Album" quality music.
• Work with producer to create "background" music which must synch along with video/choreography.
• Work with producer to rework and recreate a definitive edition of existing music.
• Practice and rehearse music for potential live performances and/or concerts.
• Participation in potential online/live/virtual performances and/or concerts.

Game Programmer

Punk This Studios is looking for awesome Game Programmers to join our team; currently working on Project Survive. This is a long-term contract position for ensuring Project Survive releases, and is supported post-release. Game Programmers will work with the Lead Game Programmer, Designers, and Artists in order utilize and enhance a custom game engine for high quality fun gameplay, responsive controls, and ultra-smooth audio/visual performance. We want someone who can think outside the box, propose radical solutions, share their creative thoughts, and is especially passionate for independent game development.

Responsibilities

• Work with lead programmer to implement new engine features and functionality.
• Work with designers to implement and balance gameplay features and mechanics.
• Work with artists to implement and enhance various audio/graphical effects.
• Profile game performance and fine-tune code for optimal play.
• Rapid prototyping of gameplay mechanics, control systems, AI behaviors etc.
